IFC Compliant Software

The IAI does not produce software. However some of its members do develop software applications that are compliant to the IFC specifications. Some of these developments are comercialisable, and some of them are at the pre-competitive stage only. There are many products that fall between the two extremes. These software products cover a wide area of AEC/FM domains: Design, Structural engineering, HVAC design, Thermal analysis, Code checking, Quantity take-off, Cost estimation, etc. They come with a spectrum of varieties that can be used for different purposes.

Currently the ISG is testing a database onIFC-supporting applications. The contents are in beta testing). When the database is available for public use, it will be integrated into the ISG-Website (http://www.iai.fhm.edu/.)
